First Year At Uni

Here are a few images from last year (first year of Applied Arts Degree).These are what I have currently on my computer, I hope to get more and better images, for you all to see soon. x

Inspired by Morocco these plates were for a  hand ceramics project. Overall I am not a fan of Ceramics, I did not love working with clay and the unpredictability of your final piece due to the number of stages it goes through frustrates me.

This statement champagne top necklace was the first piece of jewellery I made.  A piece of turned wood holds a champagne bottle top, encased by gold plated metal. I will have to take a close up image of this piece.

With the idea of Hidden Treasure I designed these rings. Cast from Bronze with encased rough cut rubies and green glass. This I feel was a very successful project and would like to expand on this work.

 This is the front and back of a postcard I designed for the rings. The front shows the casting tree after the wax had been replaced.

Lets Begin Blogging

I hope this Blog will create an exciting mix of my current and past work, as well as anything that inspires me along the way. It should eventually show how I evolve from now thorough my remaining time at University onwards.
